I had to wait an entire 24 hours before writing this review. Why? Because I could not put in to words how much I adored this book! I still don’t believe I’ll be able to do it justice, but let’s give it a go!

Lose Me was profoundly emotional. It spoke to my soul lyrically and metaphorically about love, life, and serendipity. It was captivating, heart pounding, and intensely moving.

A book blogger named Claire described this book as “candy for Jane Austen fans,” and I couldn’t agree more. It had the allure, the sweet enjoyment, and the bittersweet end. It also spoke on a powerful level about, not only the author’s love for Pride and Prejudice but, the aspects of the classic that fans have been truly passionate about.

M.C. Frank captured the essence of a classic tale that millions have grown to love, while adding her own unique charm and magnificence to the story. As this was not a retelling of the tale, but a story that flourished from its inspiration. It was also a story within a story.

The main characters were fated to meet while working on a modern day movie retelling of Pride and Prejudice. It was serendipity at its finest, but also destiny hard at work. The result was a story that mirrored the classic tale in emotion, life lessons, and humor. It was as if Wes and Ari were modern day Darcy and Elizabeth themselves.

Ari was an incredibly powerful character. She was strong, fierce, kind, and full of life. She was a symbol of pride, power, inner struggle, and never giving up. She has forced her way in to my heart and has become one of my favorite main characters.

Wes was the insanely handsome, arrogant, bad boy I could not get out of my head. He spoke to me on so many levels, and had such depth and character. He represented pride, prejudice, change, and falling hard.

I also felt that I had to mention Ollie, Wes’s best friend, and Ari’s dad. Ollie was sweet and caring. He was strikingly different from Wes and Ari, but fiercely loyal and lovable. And, Ari’s dad was one of my favorite characters. His relationship with Ari was beautiful and powerful. He was the supportive, cool parent everyone wished to have in high school!

This book was stunningly multi-faceted. It had vivid imagery, vivaciously dynamic characters, and a page turning plot. It not only made me add visiting Greece to my bucket list, but had me yearning to watch My Big Fat Greek Wedding 1 and 2 because of the amazing family dynamics that were woven in. It held love, loss, heartache, friendship, family, drama, and emotional life lessons. It also spoke on the importance of finding yourself before fully losing yourself to another.

This is a great story of two people from very different worlds with a love hate relationship! It takes awhile for them to figure things out through a lot of ups and downs. Overall a clean read with some spicy kisses and a few swear words.
I loved all the Greek terminology and the characters. And then the British stud muffin with the beautiful Ari. He saved her life in the very beginning and the story starts there. It was wonderful!
I loved this story! I loved Wes and Ari and how real their relationship was. I loved how it wasn't love at first sight but developed over time and real struggles. I loved the settings! I want to visit Greece and swim in the ocean and maybe even become a stunt double. Such a fun well-rounded contemporary romance!!
This modern adaptation of Pride and Prejudice uses the Shakespearean device of play within a play. The characters are believable and grow during the book and there are some heartbreaking moments. There is also a Christian overlay and the book is "clean". The ending is great but also doesn't perfectly wrap everything up in a bow, which is nice because the characters are still young. I would happily read more about them.
This is such an amazing book and a great modern take on Jane Austin <3 Ari is a brave and outgoing girl who works hard for what she wants. Although, that strength does sometimes get in her way but I will forgive her for that! After reading this book I felt a little empty, like now that I am done I feel like I should be reading it still. But I can't because it is done! My poor poor heart is sad that there isn't more.

I gave this book 4 out of 5. I only gave it 4 because some parts were a little hard to follow or the language didn't flow so I was pulled from the story a few times. Other than those little things I think this book was amazing! The characters were full and well done. I was left loving some (oh adorable Ollie!) and hating others (evil Elle) but it was so well done that I wasn't left wondering who was who.

The adorable Wes is such a spectacular male lead to play alongside Ari. Their relationship is full of ups and downs but oh man! They are such emotional ups and downs that I loved reading about it all. Overall this book was a great read and I can't wait to read MC Frank's other works! And as always- when you read this one let me know your thoughts! I love to hear other opinions!
I absolutely loved this book, but it took me getting to more than 50 percent to move from my usual 4 stars (enjoyable, but not amazing) to the 5 star rating I've given it. I give it this rating despite the numerous typos that occur within it, because for me, story trumps grammar every time. Most of the time, typographical errors pull me right out of the story I'm reading, affecting my enjoyment. The plot of "Lose Me." was so engrossing I didn't even care. I hope the author gets a chance to have professional proofreaders go over future books to fix this issue, however, as it was a bit distracting.
