It's a great story, but this edition is crap. It says in the description Large Print, but it's not. In fact, it's smaller print than most books for this reading level--almost like reading the bible. And the page layout is crappy too. Also, I don't like that they call Anne "Ana". I know it's the Spanish version, but Matthew is still "Matthew" and not "Mateo" and Anne's spelling her name with an "e" is almost as central to her character as her red hair. One final complaint is that there is no translator acknowledged. I realize the book is in the public domain, so maybe they don't need any copyright/publishing information (though when i'm reading a book, i like to know when it was written for context) but the translator should receive credit.

Muy buena novela, clásica, entretenida y toca los valores de la vida
The print is SO tiny. I’ve never seen any chapter book with print this tiny. So disappointing.
This book was a Christmas gift and it was a hit!
As in the picture. Translation seems very accurate. Layout of pages is a little strange because some are printed in sections but it doesn't bother me.
Fluent in Spanish (a Spanish teacher) I love this book to help revise vocabulary. It is so rich in descriptive language, a great read in any language especially for young girls.
Un relato dulce pero no almibarado, lleno de reflexiones sobre una mirada a través de la inocencia de una niña especial. Acaso todos somos especiales, o singulares, con defectos y valores, alegrías y tristezas. No es difícil identificarse con Ana, sentir su pasión por la vida, la amistad y los sueños.
